So your wedding or honeymoon is now booked and you are considering having a photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora to create the memories of this amazing trip? Thanks to this blog post you get more information about the resort itself but also about our ultimate favorite spots to take pictures.
Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora : Resort’s introduction
The Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora is located on the main island just next to the only public beach in Bora Bora : Matira beach also known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!
You’ll find there 50 overwater bungalows and 12 beach villas. It’s a great place to stay at a reasonable price for Bora Bora and if you want to be able to move around the main island freely (without having to take a pricey boat every time).
Good to know: Le Moana’s guest can also access the sister property, the Intercontinental Thalasso for a lunch, a spa treatment or even a photoshoot 😉
But enough talking, you clicked to see pictures right?
So you’ll find below our 5 favorite spots for your photo shoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora.
Photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora : Our top 5 locations
1 : Overwater decks
Located at the end of each branch of bungalows the big overwater decks offer amazing views on the lagoon. In the morning the shades of blue are out of this world!! Also great to jump in the water at the end of your photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora.
2 : Overwater bungalow
We also like starting our photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora with some pictures on your overwater bungalow! The water is so clear it almost looks unreal! We still can’t get used to it! And if we are lucky we may catch some stingrays passing by 😉
3 : Beach
Another must-do spot during your photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora is the main beach. With the blue of the lagoon and the overwater bungalows on the background your in the perfect Bora Bora postcard! Also a nice spot for some pictures in the water!
4 : Tropical garden
Feeling like adding a splash of green to your photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora? Then we’ll head to the tropical garden for some jungle feel pictures.
5 : Bridges
And last but not least the bridges that lead to the overwater bungalows are also a great picture opportunity on our way to the garden or the beach!
Best time & light for your photoshoot at the Intercontinental Le Moana Bora Bora
Unfortunately, the resort is not perfectly located for sunset. That’s why, for the best light and colors we would always recommend shooting in the morning at the Intercontinental Le Moana.
